A cluster wall ... :)

A long disappearence from my blog ... loads of reasons to give and tons of things to share ... but for now this is what is on my mind ... a cluster wall, I am working on ...

Its been on my mind for the longest time ever ... to try out ... all my frames ... the prints collection ... my lil' girls art work ... my art work ... the tankhas ... mirrors ... and I guess ... ton loads of more things which are going to join in ...

... what I really wanted to try was hanging the frames at heights ... not typically where you'd have it suggested  to you ... ;) ... something other than the mundane ... 'AT THE EYE LEVEL" ... :) ... nopes, not me .. I pulled them down to almost the skirting level ...

... top right corner ... I also added these ... brass tags(deer shape), made of bell metal... I'm sure a lot of you may have seen these ... they come from Bastar region. Here again ... I typical like to say that a thing is more beautiful when it is used for the purpose it is made for... even if it is antique use it ... well ! here ... I liked the how artistic it looked so it just got added on ... more more things on my mind to add ... are old keys ... have been eyeing them at this antique store I know ... and  ... and ... Ah! let me leave something for another post ... another day ... :)

... though all suggestions are very welcome ... and I really hope I got you thinking on lines of some interesting projects ... ;) ... did I ... could I ... drop me a line and I 'd love to hear your side as always ... :)

:D, been trying to get my mom to do something similar, but only managed to convince her to get just about 3-4 frames per wall.
Did get some awesome new wood furniture pieces for the house over the weekend, yet to be unwrapped and set in the right place, will send pics of those set up against empty walls. But, that's just me, prefer to take it slow, just like a relationship :D

Beautiful wall ....I am working on the same lines ( have collected a few frames and some family pics and also jharokhas and mirrors and the list continues.... ). Just waiting to get a house since we are moving out from bandung. But never thought that all will look good together .It sure does on your wall ...I love the bastar thingies ..Have always loved them and wanted to own them .....Just one question ....what if the wall is not white and a warmer shade of green or red or even brown?Just want to know your opinion because I plan to do that in my house.
Great post as usual and missed you loads my friend .....

I love clusters and yours turned out beautifully. I am inspired to try this in my home. I have a strangely angled wall, with a staircase angle thrown in which breaks the wall.. this idea would do well, only I wont able to go to the skirting.. there will be a sofa there. Thank you for sharing.
