Who modeled for this portrait?
ReplyDelete1. A face that blends very well with the style that has a very early 1800's feel to it. Actually looks like a portrait of a lady from the Patiala royal family.
2. The clothes, the background, the color, all work very well together to form a royal portrait kind of a feel. Excellent undertones and shadows that blend in with the brushstrokes.
3. Now I definitely know you are a hardcore Punjabi, even your painting says that out loud for you.
Again, that's just my opinion and I'm not trying to tell anything to anyone else.

Ah! Lady , I dabbled a itsy- bitsy in paint while in the US...
