From the Style files ... Oh! for the love of Lanterns ... :)

Call it a laltain or a lantern ... the magic and romance of the flickering light inside  is  ... wooooow ... absolutely undeniable ...
 Indian ... middle eastern or plain simple modern ... they are sure to make you stop in your tracks for a second looky ... Hmmm! I wonder what it is about them  ...





... I had to share some of these pictures from my inspiration files, with all of you  ... original source of most of these are unknown to me ... please feel free if you may know and want to share the original photographer or stylist 's details with me ...
... in the mean while hope you find your Diwali spirits soaring up high with ton loads of ...' things I wanna do this year' ...  ;)

  3. I have these hanging lamps that I use in winter and during Diwali, I hang it on one tree in the garden...looks lovely

  5. I love the lantern post. I have sheperd's crooks that I place in pots and aroud my porch to hang lanterns on special occasions. I also have a very large pair on my mantel that I light often....it makes me happy! Thanks for sharing. K

    They do have something magical about them ... don't they ... I can sit staring at them for hours ... I do pray all year to be as beautiful as the time we have here between DIwali to Christmas ... uuuuh! the lil' nip in the air makes it that much more nicer ...:)
