Kiddy Room ... progress ... so far ... soooo loooong .... ;)

As much as I want to finish the kiddy room ... it seems to be dragging on and on ... I do have all the big furniture pieces in ... the shade of pink that lil' one wants ... but the ... in-house-designer ... cum mother is super short of time ... besides having indecisive twosome (father n daughter)
for clients ... the best lesson I can get in tackling difficult clients ... who can never be fully convienced that they are getting exactly what they want and ...phew! ... did I mention the never ending ... why's and why nots ...

Nopes!... the linen is not done ... I just picked up these fabrics ... in shades of pink ,green and one printed ... as I sat down thinking of the final look .. I drape it on the bed  ...
I haven't yet got the study chair ... but have a pair of these accent chairs (which I picked up from oshiwara  market...Mumbai ) ... painted them white and I think I will go with the lighter of two pinks for this chair ... to use in the room for the time being ... :)

Ah! the study table ...if only I could tell you just how amused Sarah was to have sooooo ... many drawers to open and shut all day ...for her its like a big treasure box ... ;) And for her mom ... I have a change of plan everyday of how I am going to finish it ... Noorhassan (my carpenter)... in the mean while is waiting with all his patience ... wondering what I am going to do with it ... after all the emergency situation I potrayed to him to finish it ... ;)
The original idea was to finish it in the same pink as the wall ... there are multiple options popping up everyday ... since yesterday ... I have to admit I am super inspired by  the whimsical style  of Mackenzie Childs ...
... I know what many of you'll say  ... well something between whimsical to waaaay over the top ... and a lot many of you'll be  like ... WOOOOOOOOOOOOOW ... ;)
I have gone through a whole range of mixed reactions from time to time as I would bump into these designs ... but now I am getting the inspirational vibes ... and while I handle my vibes you can go over and check out more more about Mackenzie Childs product range ... here...  and go on ... do share your thoughts ... would love to hear your comments ... :)

Rajee...the pink on the wall is lovely...not too girly, yet fun! Love the colors you've picked out, and the accent chair looks beautiful (can't wait to see it all dressed up!)

Oh my , she has an LCD TV too! Wow, lucky girl! I'm digging those accent chairs! I noticed pink and lime/hot green is quite the combo now...http://www.potterybarnkids.com/room/rom/romgir/?page=1

P.S. Did you ever contemplate a canopy for her bed, a small tulle one maybe?
