First day at our Solo show ...

... here are a few pic.'s I managed to click of the show before we set off for the day ... and wow! what a day it was ... I finally got to meet so many of the faces I always saw on Fb and names I was familiar with on the blog ... :))

 

 ... 11.00 in the night ... not too many words... will leave you with the pictures ... hope you like them ... promise more in a much more masala pop's type post  ... :)

 

 ... but ofcourse, I cannot end the post without mentioning the sweetest Neelu, who keeps us chugging along with cups of tea ... thanks Neelu ... :)

Getting ready for the show ... :)

I spent the better part of the day lugging all the products over to the venue ... a great day spent labouring ... finished all most all of the stagging for our show ...

 

Right as I left Rendezvous in the even ... a few clicks withe the ph. camera ... I thought I have a lil' snaek peak for all of you ...

 
... still a bit of work to do tomorrow ... and we'll be ready  for Sat. morning ... doing up the place has been very exciting ... hopefully the place will be lot more tidy when things are all in place ...
Look forward to catching up with all of you headed our way ... remember... we'll be open 11 a.m onwards till 5 p.m ... :))

Introducing our Tasha Collection of Cushions ... and the story behind the name ... :)

The very first of cushions in this range were designed for our customer in Mumbai ... Natasha Irani, when I heard back from her ... here  is what she said ... will you name this collection after me ... :))

 

... Natasha, I love to live life simple  ... so here you go ... Natasha  ... meet our collection named after you ... our gorgeous Tasha's are as vibrant and warm as you are ... hope you are enjoying your green pieces ...and love our newer additions to the range ...

 

 ... dear Natasha while you are in Auckland  ... promisisng to go conquer the mountains and claim them for me ... will you please make sure we skip the volacanic ones ... now that would be wow  weeeee ...:)))

... hope you all enjoyed our lil' story ... and if you are dropping by at our show ... be ready to for a burst of all the sunshine you are missing in the winter ... :)) ... o.ky we do these cushions in blues too ....;))

Last few pieces get finished at the workshop ... before the show ... :)

... last evening waaaassssssssss freeeezing ... over at the workshop ... but we managed to brave the cold outdoors and finish the last of the products for the show ...

 

 

I am completely ... totally in love with these pouf's in ikat patchwork ... love...love...love how they have turned out ... and my pompom cushions ... actually I love them all ... :)))))

 

... my lil' pumpkins ... :))) ... had to bribe my daughter with a small one so she wouldn't demand these ones in silk for her room ... :)) at least not untill she learns to tidy her own mess ...;))

Working at the workshop on a chilly winter evening ... :)

Its super chilly in North India these days ... like ... brrrrrrr ... we are still on with our work ... had a lovely time with the ladies ... while I worked in the cold room down stairs they  were enjoying the little sun that pops out these days ... :)) ... guess not long before I join them,with my cuppa tea ...

 

... we were putting the finishing touches to our I-pad pouches ... I really love how turned out ... along with their tribal embelishment on top ...

 

 we'll have a few of these beauties at our Show... so it really is going to be the case of early birds ... with our limited stock of the I-pad pouches ...

 

... we have them at the moment in three colors ... the red in Shibori ... the blue silk with Kantha and the ikat with ofcourse our signature Kantha ... :))
For all my readers waiting on line ... rest assure we'll soon have them at our online store as well ... hope you all enjoy our new product ... and don't forget to wish me best of luck for our show ... I really need that.

Final few days before the show ...:)

 Its really quite a scene at home these days ... we really are wearing the workshop look these days ...

 ... and trying to keep some sanity by accepting all help that lil' one has to offer ... its a challenge to think of an answer everytime she comes running with the question .... 'Now what do I help you with mom".... aaaaah! ... my brains are bunk, honey! ... so well lets just get her to stuff some of the bags ...

 ... yes! we are jumping on the bandwagon to revive the good old shopping bag ... lets get a bit eco friendly ...  some of my fav. Kantha totes ... will be available at the show ...

... fillers ... our Shibori colletion ... and yessy! the pouf's in silk ... my absolute fav. pouf ... has to be this cute pumpkin ... do keep a look out for those at the show ... :))

Our First Show ...

I am all bursting with news and news and news ... never before in my entire life have I done sooooo ... many things for the first time ... my stomach is allll in knots ... way too many ..." what the hell , am I doing" ... moments ... panic moments ... you name it and it is all happening to me ... ;)) ... ahhhhhhh !!!
First of all ... did I tell you about our all new website ... slogged my a** off to design the new version.Do pop over to www.rajeesood.com and have a peek. And yes! it is ready before I introduce you all to my next piece ... OUR FIRST SHOW ....  oh! yes ... I am super excited ... that I'll fianlly be showcasing some of our lines for all my lovely people to see them, in person. Really hoping that all of you in the NCR will not miss this chance to come by ... if only for a hello ... please come all out and support my latest venture ... and I can sure do will all the words of love... support and encouragement ... :))
