Mornings with Alyssum ... :)

Usually at the florist ... roses are whats for sale and just to make your whole bunch look pretty ... they fill them up with these most gorgeous tiny flowers ... I am not sure if this the baby breath ... but I was told so.
I infact like it the other way round ... :) Funny , but the other day at the florist's ... I bought a whole bunch from one guy and then drifted over to the other guys . One of them had some very interesting flowers to use as fillers. I absolutely hsad to have them.... ahah... much to my delight my regular florist send his lil' boy running over to my car ... just to let me know ... Madam, you actually bought ghass-phuss( grass in Hindi) ... :):) ... yes, I did ... I love the way they look.Tiny , lil' bunches all over the house .... one of my fav. Sunday morning indulgence.
Its quite often tickeled my mind ... I am always sharing my fav. ways of flowers and greens around the house ... but what about yours. Would absolutely, love to hear how you love your flowers around the house ... :)
I just updated this post to correct the name I mentioned ... after a lot of to and fro with what is the right name I think th amjority vote suggests it is alyssum ... thankyou all who took the time to write in and help me figure out ... Thanks ... and no matter the name they are beautiful ... :)

I absolutely love love love gerberas! Just plain and simple, no leaves, no fillers. Single gerberas in individual glasses or a bunch of them - bright and colourful! Nothing like them to brighten a day :)

Beautiful flowers. I don't know if they are a different species of baby breath but they look very different from the baby breath sold in US. Here, they are tiny and have no distinct shape, kinda look like snow sitting on thin green branches...
