Thankyou for all the Birthday wishes and all the reminders that I have been M.I.A ...;))

Thankyou's to all ... all of you all ... who sent me birthday wishes and some amazing messages ... :)... apologise for being a few days late in acknowledging it ... but after a month of some great fun working on a project ... delaying and changing multiple plans of the family to take off ... I finally did take off and that too to a place where you  do tend to forget your commitments in the city.

I do have the mountains in my blood and so its a home coming each time ...  seriously, it doesn't take much to get used to loving the shade under the Himalayan Oak ...

... and what mum doesn't feel content and blissful watching her kids have fun ... my girls love the mountains too ... as do they love the swim in the mountain streams ... my lil' one even loves peaches right off the trees ... :))

... oh! and not to mention the friends we tend to find ... :)) ... here's Sofiee slugging it out with Johnny who would drop by every morning and just hang around ...

... so while my older one Aimee is very particular about the company she keeps ( prefers human company that pets and fusses over her) ... ;)) ... Sofiee and surprisingly even her cousin Dennis (the beagle) ... decided to have  loads of fun with Johnny ...

... as a teenager it broke my heart thinking I'll never be able to figure out a way to come back to the mountains ... on my 39th b'day ... I'm not so sure its impossible ... may be it is the power of belief. Okay, so I am sentimental about my mountain roots ... :)) And I may have lost the home in J&K ... but I have a very strong feeling Uttrakhand may just adopt me... :))

... cause we ... just feel so at home here  ...
... even Gattu loved to see us swing by every morning ...  as did Rinku and a few others ( couldn't catch them in a frame) ...

... I have my moments with my camera ... spend guilt free time doodling around or just staring out at the mountains and the conifers ...

... meet the locals ... raid their orchards ... loads of tea on their verandas ... while Sarah learns some basics of animal husbandry ... and one thing for sure that even calf's can head butt ( literally head to your butt ) ... so be glad they are tethered to the pole ... ;))
I am back in Gurgaon now and all ready to get back to work ... will surely try to post more ... and more often ... but then silly it is ... that I started a blog to write about designing and now ... its just that what often keeps me tied up to do the blogging  ... :)
