Its Holi time in India ... and for me there is one flower that makes it ever so special ... in company of the flame of the forest... or palash ...as most of us would call it ... I grew up knowing about it as the Tesu ... some things are unexplainable and my love for this flower falls in that category ... drive around the dry and hot rural India in the summer and you are sure to know where the tesu grows ... see you there.................................... 
The images of the tesu make me sooo... nostalgic... I wish I could have clicked them myself ... guess it wasn't meant to be ... its Holi ... and I am far away from a tesu tree ... I had to say ...HAPPY HOLI ... to all my readers, with something very special to me ... thanks toptropicals.com

I loved your Flame of the Forest post. Know something? I've only seen them from afar and bunched up they're mindblowing. I've never taken a good look at the individual flowers. Shame on me!

I sure was wondering what my gardner friend would say ... the more I say I love them ... is less... see if you can go have a closer look next time... i won't be surprised if you'd want to try growing them ... that's my dream ...
As for soaking... well I got a dunking... the things you do for the lil' brats... but never progressed to bhang so far ;D
