Franz porcelin ... and love happens ...

Here's something I have been in love with for the past year and a half ... oh! I am sooo ... in love ... and let me pull you in with me ... Here's Franz Porcelin ... from the Franz Collection ...
The story behind the creation of all these beautiful pieces is as interesting as these pieces themselves ... do read all about it on their website ... http://www.franzcollection.com/
I have been eyeing quite a few of their pieces . myself ... and Aaaah! are their tea sets... to die for ...
The poinsettia bowl ... talk about holiday cheer ...

... to stir tea in these dainty cups with those fairytale spoons ... I sure feel like Icould be tinkerbell ... The magnolia collection ...

The Jungle beauty giraffe collection ...

My personal favourite collection... the Amazon parrot ... I don't think tea time could be more fun ... if tea comes served in this :)

heavens! these are really beautiful. I don't usually care much for porcelain (maybe cos of the cheap imitations in every gift store in India), but this is something else! The flowers, especially the poinsettiae are very pretty! Thanks for sharing, I will be looking out for these now on :)

Hi. Can someone tell me where can I find Franz porcelin in India?

Rajee Sood said...

Hi Sandhya,
If you are in Mumbai or Pune... I may be able to help you let me know.

I am in Hyderabad, however I keep visiting Mumbai. So can you let me know where I can obtain Franz porcelin here?
Incidentally, a couple of months ago, in an exhibition in Hydereabad, someone was offering Franz at a 40% discount. That was the first time that I had seen Franz products. Unfortunately I do not have the contact details of that stall. It would help if you could let me know as to how to proceed on trying to obtain Franz products in India.

Hi Rajee,
Checked 'Alessi' website. They have really nice functional art pieces. I have the blue Mr. Chin kitchen timer and I love it.
For Mr. Chin series, they collaborated with the National Palace Museum Taiwan.
I love household items that are an art piece as well.
