A beautiful ... beautiful ... drawing room, to dream ...about ...

All afternoon I kept drooling over this picture ... and I have to say it has to be one of my fav. drawing rooms I ever saw. The white fireplace against warmth of the brown on the wall ... the white sofas ... the lighting ... I even love the Apothecary jars on the sofa table ...
It all seemed so lovely put together ,that I had to share with all my readers ... unfortunately I don't know the original source of the beautiful design. But hope you too enjoy the beauty of this room.

Agree Rajee. This is really beautiful. Transports me to the England of the classic novels. Love the wicker baskets too.

Hi DD,
I love to hear ...'I like'... and at the same time ... it's great to also hear ...'not my style' ... tells me that one realises what one prefers personally and thats all that is important ... lovely to hear from you :)

Hi Patricia,
join in ... I really loved the way the brown looks ... guess I am looking for some walls that don't mind going brown ... :)

Hi Monika,
Talk about novels ... the lighting in the rooms ... makes me feel like curling up on one of those cozy sofas with a nice book and I am blissful :)

Hi Radhika,
I think I like the timeless charm ... it can belong to any era ... yes, classic is quite what I'd like to believe :)

I love that combination of snowy white against deep, rich brown wood.
